Right now i’m listening to this album, the piano version of the Final Fantasy VII soundtrack, composed by Nobuo Uematsu. A very2 samurai name, huh? Well he made real darn good compositions for piano from dat movie, i crave copies of his music sheets 4 me 2 play myself at home... *ehem.. hint 4 my xmas presents*

Talkin bout presents.. why cant we moslems celebrate Ied wit fake palm trees in malls covered in presents too??

You christians got all d good ones. Good decorations, cool jingles of songs, even tons of cute xmas characters (Grinch, rudolph, elves, n dont get me started wit santa), n u only get to go 2 church once a week, while we hv 2 do our things 4 minimum of 5 times a day, every day of d week, and on this specific month they dont even allow u to eat on daytime. U walked downstairs half-asleep n stuffed ur mouth with as much food as u can get before dawn, fasting, n they force u to eat again not a minute later than after the sun sets. Of course by d end of d month we moslems get salvations where God Almighty erase all our sins n give us another chance 2 make a clean start. Big deal, i want mistletoe.

i love xmas songs. I even got a couple of xmas albums, from NKOTB’s, Fourplay’s, Compilation of jazz artists playing xmas tunes, and Peanuts’ (Charlie Brown n Snoopy). I can play them by heart. But, ask me fer 1 of OUR carols. Anything. I’ll be giving u that dumb look coz we dont have one interesting enough 4 me 2 like. Even to acknowledge.

n d atmosphere!!! I LOVE malls on xmas!!!!!!!! Bright colors everywhere, cheery xmas carols in jazzy versions were played all day, freebies n discounts on gifts materials, its d season 2 celebrate!!! They play all d good movies on tv (ever d reruns aren’t all dat bad) n on d cinema there’s a bunch of all-new xmas-related movies, ready 2 hypnotize u 4 d next 2 hours!

Dont get me wrong, i dont mind being a moslem. We got a day when He “ctrl+A+del” all our sins away, n i’m quite happy wit dat! (yeah, provided God knows my list has reached its length limit.. ^_^”). I love MY holy city, Mecca & Madinah, even though there they have 7 suns thats ready to burn ur skin good n d criminals robbed my PDA 4 a bucket of KFC, i dunno.

I like those cities n d feelings they gave me when i was there. Its just that i wish we moslems were more laid back like d christians. We care too much about our appearance, we show off our (supposedly) good deeds to have ppl looked up to us, we bitched at others who doesnt follow d same road we took. Hypocrites, thats what we are. We should stop being so naive in interpreting what’s written in d holy Qur’an. Why dont we stop being judgemental to others n just mind our own business. Our own lives. Have we live our lives d right way? Its doesnt have to be the BEST way, u know.. right is enough for now.

Work hard, play hard, thats what my friends always says. Its an excuse we use as a justification to allow ourselves a lil fun every now n then. Having fun wit ppl i love is what keeps me going all these years. But then again i dont deny dat i HAVE a certain responsibility to d 1 who created me, and try to work on that responsibility too. But 1 thing to remember, that personal business is only between the person involved (me!) and the creator. It doesnt concern other ppl, so 2 those ppl who bitchily passing judgements between them holier-than-thou selves, i say MIND YOUR OWN FREAKIN’ BUSINESS, honeys. Bitching is 1 of d biggest sins, n I think i’m startin to smell sumtin burnin. Is that your ass that’s on fire?? Ah yeah d hell’s fire already crept their way up to your holy butt.

Phew, this fasting atmosphere really gets me going here. And i’m not even fasting! (i’m still on medications, mind you.)

Anyway, to those of u who DOES fasting, i say 2 u “Happy fasting! Hope it’ll give us the ultimate enlightment we’ve all been looking for, and bring us peace of mind, body and soul, amen.”
